Our Student Life Strategic Work Retreat aims to guide boarding school colleagues through the critical work that often gets pushed aside in favor of students' immediate needs, teaching, meetings, duty nights, etc. It's the work we know can move our programs ahead on policies, planning, or culture. It's transformational work. But we need the time to make it happen and the support to keep moving when obstacles slow us down. That's where OES comes in! In our upcoming Strategic Retreat, participants will get more than 18 hours of group and individual support, from goal setting to putting the final bow on your project, so it's ready to roll out to your community. This is NOT a conference, institute, or workshop! There is no information overwhelm, content-driven sessions, or speakers. This is a facilitated work session with colleagues and a coach to hold everyone accountable for their goals and keep the work moving.

Can we send a team?
YES! Your school will benefit the most from having at least two members present. We ask that each school register no more than three people to keep our cohort small with a diverse group of schools at the table.
Can OES run a retreat on MY campus?
Absolutely! We are actively looking for future host schools. We only need a conference space with seating for 12-15 people and a point person on campus to assist with catering needs. Host schools receive two complimentary registrations and take priority on designing the topic. Want to go even deeper into the work?
